Medical Student Electives

Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program offers electives for fourth-year medical students. Contact our program for more information on any of these rotations:

Ambulatory Family Medicine: In this rotation, you will see patients in our Family Medicine Center. You will gain experience in the full spectrum of Family Medicine – acute care, management of chronic problems, injuries, minor procedures, well care and maternity care.

Inpatient Family Medicine: Join our faculty and residents in this busy, adult inpatient medicine service, where you will be part of a dynamic team of providers. You will gain valuable knowledge and experience as you participate in bedside care, daily teaching rounds, didactic sessions and noon conferences.

Combined Ambulatory and Inpatient Family Medicine: Split your four weeks, spending two weeks doing each of the above two Family Medicine rotations.
