Geraldine C. Gossard, M.D.

Biography : Dr. Gossard came to the United States from Ireland. She graduated from the University College Galway School of Medicine in 1982. She completed rotating residency in family medicine in Ireland and England. She joined Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program as a resident in 1993 and stayed on as assistant professor of the Department of Family and Community Medicine and faculty at the program. Dr. Gossard's interests include women's health, prevention and geriatrics. She has a strong interest in evidence-based medicine and research and has presented at national conferences. Dr. Gossard and her husband, Carl, have two young sons and, when not at the ballpark, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, travel and golf.
