Biography : After geriatric fellowship, I worked in a small Town in Wisconsin where I was fortunate to work with a leading group of Geriatricians. My practice was focused on older patient population in skilled/long term care facilities as well as a community based outpatient clinic. I had an opportunity to participate in Quality improvement measures in transition of care for older adults. In 2015, I decided to move back to Texas which I consider as my home and joined The Memorial Hermann Family Medicine residency program on the teaching faculty. As I was always interested in taking care of complex wounds I spent one-year in formal fellowship training in wound Healing and Tissue Repair in Chicago, IL.
I am happy to be back at work for Memorial Hermann again. Hoping to share my knowledge with my colleagues and the residents.
In my free time, I enjoy learning Piano, spending time with my girls Insia and Aliyyah. I also speak Urdu/Hindi.
