Since the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program was created in 1972, more than 275 of our graduates have gone on to rewarding careers in a variety of settings, armed with practical knowledge, clinical expertise and a commitment to caring for their future patients in every sense of the word.
As part of the not-for-profit Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, our residency program combines the best of community-based healthcare with the finest in graduate medical education. We are the only residency program sponsored by Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, so our residents benefit from training in an unopposed program.
