Electives

Residents have 1 month of electives during second year, and 3.5 months of electives during third year. Additionally, residents can opt in for electives if they would like additional elective time. During the 2-week elective period, residents can choose whether they would like to proceed with regularly scheduled curriculum, or use the time for an elective. 2-week rotations eligible for electives are Neurology (PGY-2), ENT , (PGY-3) and Ophthalmology (PGY-3). Electives and Selectives provide the necessary flexibility for residents to tailor their training to the type of career they would like to pursue.

• Vascular Surgery
• Wound Care
